These classes are available to students from all towns. North Andover
High School, Central Catholic High School, Phillips Academy, and Brooks School students
may also attend these sessions.

Parent Classes <<(Click the link for session dates.)
A parent must attend their class before on road driving lessons are
scheduled with an instructor. It is the responsibility of the parent to
enroll for their class. All parent classes take place at 2 Dundee Park,
Suite 201 Andover, MA.
Driver Education Sessions
- 30 Hours Classroom time
- 12 hours driving; 6 hours observation
- 2 Hour Parent Class
- Open to everyone
- Walk-ins welcomed (on space available basis)
- Missed classes may be made up in any other session
- One Week accelerated classes, Saturday classes, and Evening classes available
- Located close to the center of town for easy access.
Age Requirements
- For Classroom: 15 years and 9 months
- For On-Roads: 16 years w/learner's permit
- Students should practice with their parents for two months on their permit so they are ready to begin the in car curriculum which is taught on main roads.
Pick Up And Drop Off For On Roads
- For your convenience, students who live or go to school in the Andover, North Andover, Methuen, or Lawrence area can be picked up and dropped off at their house, or at school. Students may also be picked up and dropped off in the parking lot at 2 Dundee Park, Andover, MA.
- Students who live outside of our pick up area (Andover, North Andover, Methuen or Lawrence) will meet their instructor in the parking lot at 2 Dundee Park, Andover, MA.
What To Bring To Class
- Notebook
- pen
- permit (if previously obtained)
- Any unpaid fees to school
- MASS DOT Driver's Manual -available at any Mass Registry of Motor Vehicles or available for purchase in the Classroom for $5.

To take your registry road test with Andover Auto, call 978-470-2060 and have your permit ready. Do NOT set up your own appointment. There's a $120 non refundable fee for students and a $150 non refundable fee for non-students for this service. Also, MASS DOT will charge you a $35 test fee, and a $50 license fee. You can pay those fees at the RMV website or by clicking this link.
To set up your own road test, using your own sponsor and vehicle, call the RMV Student Road Test Hotline: 800 858-3926. Or Book Online at the RMV's website.
All students must bring a signed and completed road test application as well as a license application to their road test appointment.
